Somewhere In The Middle Ground

This is a blog for those who refuse to take what we are told about anything at face value. It is for those of you who are questioning what your friends and family believe. It is for you who are in need of encouragement. The name comes from Matthew 7:13 where he writes about the wide and straight/narrow gates/paths to eternity. I choose to look at this scripture as saying we shouldn't be too far in any direction on the spectrum, but should be somewhere in the middle ground.

World Vision Crisis

World Vision Crisis
When Christianity puts ideals above people. Christians figuratively put a gun to World Vision's head as well as the hungry children's.

Matthew 6:24

Matthew 6:24
No one can serve two masters. There is much too patriotism in Christianity and not enough obedience to God's kingdom.

Grace/Law

Grace/Law
God's grace will always be enough. The law is the strength of sin and is a ministry of death. Grace is life and the law is death, you cannot mix the law with grace because that is mixing death with life; death mixed with life is still death. The only form of grace that is life is pure, unadulterated grace.

Is the message of Christ political? If so, then in what way?
